Surgery Update - 6pm

We've been updated throughout the day on Anna's progress and we're now coming into the final stretch of her surgery. Anna's bladder has been successfully augmented and placed into its right position. The orthopedic surgeons have just returned to the operating room and will be performing the bone graft and placing pins in her hips. Once this is completed, Anna will be fitted for a spica cast and sent to the ICU. If all goes well Anna will be resting in her room in a few more hours. Please keep Anna in your thoughts.

Still praying, been thinking of her, and you, all day. Hang in there--home stretch. The best part will be when she wakes up and sees her mommy and daddy right there next to her. Keep strong, Pamela and John!!! :) Kathleen, Mia and Marika

Hi Pamela and John,

Sarah told me about your blog, since I wanted to keep up with Anna's progress. I know things are crazy right now, but it'll all be worth it. Both girls are lucky to have found such a wonderful family, and you're all lucky to have Sarah helping with the transitions and changes right now! Your family is in my thoughts.
