Lily met Santa for the first time last Saturday. She didn't quite know what to think about that! But she complied with our urging to sit on his lap, and smiled for a picture. She had fun riding on the Snoqualmie Railroad Museum train and drinking her first cup of hot cocoa. It was a very cold day which added to the Christmas spirit.

How fun! We also went on the Polar Express train ride on Saturday out of Nashville. We met other friends who have adopted and had a wonderful time.

It was so good to talk to John today and Lily Mei!! Lily is looking forward to lot's of fun with Nana Barbara. I wish all of you a safe trip to China and I know this holiday will be one to remember.

Ha-- Pamela: I recognize that Santa: He was at the museum of History and Indusrty a couple of years ago and Mia was petrified of him (too skinny, I guess). Anyway, the pic gets put up every Christmas and it is PRICELESS :) Kathleen Mia and Marika
